Privacy policy
2026 edition
The short version: we collect the minimum data needed to run the archive, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. Your data is yours.
1. What we collect and why
Email and nickname for sign-in; the email is confirmed by a link. The material you add (photos, threads, comments) is exactly what becomes public. We also keep basic technical logs (time, IP) for security and spam protection.
2. How we use information
To run the service: display the archive, accept submissions, fight spam and abuse, and answer requests. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
3. When we disclose information
Only at your direction, to protect the service (for example, investigating reports), or when required by law. We use a small set of infrastructure providers that process data only on our instructions.
4. Your rights
You can learn what data we hold, correct it, ask for removal of your comments, threads, replies or account, and complain about processing. Use the report form or contact the administration.
5. How we secure your data
Data in transit is encrypted; access to servers and material is restricted; material is not public before approval; geolocation and service metadata are stripped from images automatically.
6. What happens when you delete content
You can ask to delete comments, threads and replies — they become inaccessible and are purged from our systems and, later, from backups. Photos are the backbone of the archive and are kept; in exceptional cases (rights violation, mistake) the administration may remove a photo.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to run the service and meet legal requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
8. Where data is stored
Data and images are stored on our own servers. Access is restricted and is not shared with third parties.
9. Changes and questions
We may update this policy; we will announce significant changes. For questions, contact the archive administration.
